[1] I actually believe Sony's make solid hardware but they screw up most of their products by insisting on proprietry technologies, which is totally against "Matt philosophy". Memory Stick is my current bugbear but ATRAC wasn't terribly long ago - and they had such wonderful potential with MiniDisc but insisted on overpricing it and just making bad decisions with its implementation. OK, rant over.
